Born Out of Century
Ultra high-resolution giclee print.
Born at a century was a term I ran across in an old Modern art book. It was a term related to activistic traits or traits that reappeared from an older generations. I always felt my work was not of this time but it belonged somewhere else. In this work, I drew inspiration from Francis Bacon, Salvador Dali, and Clockwork Orange. The grey scale bar reminded me of the color scales printed on consumer cereal boxes when I was a boy. Grey is my favorite color because it always enhances the color next to it.
Note: Sizes may vary up to one inch in either direction.
