Artificial Reproduction of Thought - Arresting Reality and Time - Alternate Recording of Time - Avoiding Reality and Trauma -

This body of work explores the internal moral and spiritual  dilemmas of modern life. Historical art references are woven into the subject matter, making the work anachronistic and slightly arcane. Colors are muted, revealing an ominous undertone, and biomorphic forms create a corporeal spectacle.

Born Out of Century
from $79.99

Ultra high-resolution giclee print.

Born at a century was a term I ran across in an old Modern art book. It was a term related to activistic traits or traits that reappeared from an older generations. I always felt my work was not of this time but it belonged somewhere else. In this work, I drew inspiration from Francis Bacon, Salvador Dali, and Clockwork Orange. The grey scale bar reminded me of the color scales printed on consumer cereal boxes when I was a boy. Grey is my favorite color because it always enhances the color next to it.

Note: Sizes may vary up to one inch in either direction.

Ship of Fools
from $79.99

Ultra high-resolution giclee print.

Named after a Hieronymus Bosch piece, this work is based on the Book of Revelations chapter 17, verse 3.

Co-Existed
from $79.99

Ultra high-resolution giclee print.

This work is entirely based on the seven sins. The image is visceral and deeply personal. On the bottom is a monk, reminiscent of a Franciso de Zurbaran (Baroque Spanish Painter) kneeling holding a skull with a Bible. The symbol of the “i” is a prophetic symbol of technology replacing all that was once good. Tandem (Pray)

The image is meant to be didactic and moralizing.

Note: Sizes may vary up to one inch in either direction.

Death of An Artist
from $79.00

Hi-Res Giclee Print (Original Oil on Canvas)

Roughly based on the composition format of the “Raft of the Medusa” by Theodore Gericault (1818). This image comes from experiences in my life over the past decade. More of an exorcism or purging, of good and bad memories that have haunted me over the years.

The Charlatan
from $79.99

Ultra high-resolution giclee print.

This oil painting is for other artists. Edvard Munch, Francisco Goya, and Bosch references reveal the human condition and its current state of decay.
